Personality:

A bird of fire in body, soul and mind. Pharos is just as hot-blooded, wild, fiery and feisty as her appearance leads to believe. She is untamed, free, fearless, and often unpredictable. Sometimes she's warm and comforting like a bonfire in a cold winter's night, other times she's as destructive and unstoppable as a raging wildfire. She is usually not aggressive by herself, but if someone insult or attack her, she can (and propably will) burn them to ashes. She loves to talk about magic abilities and elemental powers, and also loves to exercise those and test their and her own limits. She would never turn down a fight if she is challenged. 

Pharos has a strong dislike for any stryx with divine blessings. In her oppinion, they're all just lazy kids who got their abilities shoved into them by someone else, without any efford or work for it in the first place. Pharos will avoid their company if possible. If it's not possible, then she can get really dismissive, mean and quite insulting towards them. And yes, she can and will fearlessly face any battles, even against stryx with divine blessings. And most of them have a really unplesant surprise when they find out what this little hawk is able do with her magic and elemental powers.

History:

Some are born special. Others work their entire life to become special.

Pharos belongs to the latter. Unlike some other birds, who had their fire and magic abilities just shoved into them by a random god's blessing and without ever doing any work for it, Pharos started her life pretty much as a plain old soil potato bird. Nothing about her was special. As a juvenile, she randomly stumbled over some stones filled with elemental power. Most other stryx would just have absorbed their energy to gain a fire breath, but Pharos really started exploring and exploiting the possibilities of her newly awoken elemental power. Fire could be so much more than just simply spitting out some flames. A little spark had awoken inside of her. A little spark of magic which could connect her to all the fire in the whole world. And she was determined to expand this connection. Pharos trained so hard and so long for so many years, literally binding her body and soul to the fire, she not only became a master magician, but also a fire elemental bird rivaling the power of any Daius blessed stryx out there.

As time went on, her magic and fire abilities, and her connection to the fire element itself, even permanently changed her physical apperance. The plain potato's once brown feathers turned into an image of sparking, firey embers and burning hot flames. And since her soul, her very existence, is bound to the fire as well, she even managed to cheat death. When her time comes, she goes down in flames like a phoenix, giving her body going back to the fire until nothin but ashes remain. Her soul however returns to the fire, savely preserved and slowly absorbing new power, until its time to be reborn. And once more, she will emerge from the fire, with a new body, new strengh and another life to live ahead of her. 

Abilities:

Pharos is quite small, even for a hawk. But don't be fooled by her small (and seemingly harmless) size. This makes her is quite fast and agile, and she's a small target which is really hard to hit. She can breathe fire which is hot enough to melt steel and glass. She can also cast powerful fire magic, and completely negate enemy fire breath and fire attacks.

• Her feathers may look like fire, but they aren't hot to the touch, and feel like regular feathers
• The feathers glow
• Sparks and tiny flames can emit from the her feathers, mostly when she's excited or angry
• While flying she often drags a trail of sparks or tiny flames behind her
