They don't sound like very nice people. You are better off without them. It hurts to lose friends but maybe they weren't truly your friends to begin with.

Also, I have an obsession with Thatch from Casper's scare school and I always paired my fan-character with him and my fan-character is a mary-sue and I keep pushing Thatch in her role playing.
