To say it's a silly cheese costume, he actually pulls it off really stylishly! The yellow works rather well with his purple fur.

Thanks Dregan! ^-^ Honestly this may be one of my favorite sketches to date - and the complementary yellow and purple go together like... cheese and grape jam ;D
