Envy - WIP2

Woot! I'm getting some actual work done on Envy. I won't be colouring the bottom of her skirt until I pencil in the foreground/background. Don't want it to interfere. :)

  Hopefully I'll have some time this weekend... THings have just been getting incredibly busy, and unfortunately, Envy is stuck right now with just a top and a bustle. She needs some skin next, I think. And then her friend the snake....

Lovely! The dress is just breath taking. Gives me ideas for my wedding dress LOL. I guess I have a one-track mind. It's a wonderful work and I can't wait to see it completed!

  *grin* No worries. i think even I would have that type of one-track mind in your situation.
  
  I've been looking at a -lot- of wedding dresses lately. They're part of what got me into this series. I wanted to design clothing.

  So you want to design clothing. Hmmm, that's very intersting considering I'm looking for a dress. JK. I really wish I had the money to pay you to design a dress and then get it made, but sadly I don't. A girl can dream though. Still love the pic and can't wait to see it all finished and wonderful!

  *grin* I don't design clothing as a career at all... I just got in the mood for designing dresses lately. A couple of my friends recently got engaged, for one of them I'm a bridesmaid, and now you're engaged... dresses are flowing everywhere!

Ah! I really love how this is going so far (so all about that snake ) The only thing I see is her neck, it looks a bit thin. Are you doing more than Lust and Envy? You doing like, the 7 deadly sins? If you are, I can't WAIT to see them

  I am doing the Seven Deadly sins. This is the third colour sketch that I'm making before the acrylic paintings.
  
  I've got Wrath and Lust prepared to paint, now, and this one is almost halfway there.
  
  I think it's mostly the top of the neck that makes it look thin. She's supposed to be quite bony, but now I look more, I think you're right. I could make it a fraction thicker without losing effect.
