Originally two separate souls, Disare was fused and tampered by Death itself to serve as its next soul collector in line, along with his colleagues. There were no training wheels given to him beyond the innate knowledge of souls and how to deal with them and he was soon sent out to experience the universe outside the domain, leading to new curiosities and disgusts... As well as an unfortunate meeting with a particular deity. It didn't take long for the first interaction to go sour for Disare as said deity began to obsess over him and doing numerous harmful acts just to get him under his thumb. Or worse, attempt to get Disare to mentally crack from the constant pressure.

This spiral kept dropping lower and lower for the young collector, desperation fuelling his desire to escape it. All of which eventually lead him to locate and hide within a particular anomalous mansion, where he would find his current partner, forming a bond in their isolation. In time this culminated in his partner becoming the new owner of his soul, became his Death, and he was given a chance to properly heal. With trial and error he learned to wield the mortal body, began to learn more about his demonic lineage and lean into their culture, and formed a family, both adopted and created of their own blood.

In the present, Disare's a lot more outgoing and positive, indulging in the hobby of metal and woodwork (fixating on armor and weaponsmithing in particular), as well as raising pets native to his demon planet, his second home. Occasionally trying out other activities with various degrees of success - or failure - his more recent one being the role of a mechanic. Desensitized to the concept of his own death, thanks to his creation and the fact he finds new ways to wreck his mortal body. His natural aggression and past grudges influencing his views does not help.
Also, he should be more aware of the anomalies happening around, he keeps falling in and dying in foreign worlds.
