Ace's Mask

Ace's talisman is a wood bird mask he received before he ran away. In the community when someone finishes their train and is recognized as a warrior by the elders they'd receive a personal mask. Despite not being allowed to train as a warrior Ace was given one when the elders though he had reached a high enough understanding of the sacred text. The masks are hand carved from wood in the village and are blessed with a protective spell that makes them nearly indestructible. The feathers are some from one of Ace's molts that were dyed gold that he added later on his own. It took alot of arguing and convincing from Ace to have his scars carved into the mask.
