First sparks

Verendra remembers the first time his element flared up;

Nearly 12 years old he had gotten into a scuffle with some other boys who had a habit of causing him trouble. In a fit of rage he threw a punch that ignited on impact.

Thankfully there were no serious injuries or bush fires but that incident had stuck with him for years now.  He had struggled throughout his youth trying his best to control the flames that pulsed through his veins , cursing his tenacity to allow anger to take over.

After years of work and help from friends and family he had mastered his element, utilizing it for mundane tasks such as lighting candles or starting the burner for his distiller and taking a vow of pacifism to never use his element to do harm unless absolutely necessary.
