Oh interesting! That lava lamp body sounds like it's from a similar character design to a cartoon my friend was working on. Seems like a very complex design to get in motion, but you capture the flow of the goo well!

Does he tend to live under water or on land?

  Crash lives.... technically on land, but underground deep in the earth for the most part. But he can be both on the surface and be in the water with no problems.
