Brief biography:

As usual for his kind, Mistral grew up as a nomad in a tribe of maned drakes (like him), who wander the tundra and similarly cold and barren lands, mainly living from hunting.

In their culture, Mistral was taught that you have to support each other to survive. And that there is no shame in showing emotions, because they help to understand each other, and they show that we are all the same in our essence.

However, currencies, writing and reading, diverse languages and other, oh, such 'normal' things of other intelligent species are not part of the maned drake's repertoire.

And as he learned enough about the wilderness, crafting and hunting, he split apart of his home tribe, as it was the tradition for males to do so, and to find a new tribe to join. It is also part of this tradition of goodbye, where he received his bow.

On his lonely journey that started that day, he someday stumbled upon an anomaly of otherworldly light and attraction, and before he knew what had happened, Mistral found himself in a foreign and very different place than he had known before.
