Adrian's traditional dress

Adrian in his traditional dress. There are a lot of things about this piece I'm not happy with, and I will likely come back to redo - but I don't have time before the deadline, so have to submit as this sub-par sketchy sketch. Sorry.

Looks great! especially the hands. But I can't help but think it would look better with a giant cat on his lap

I think this looks nice, I like the different textures in his clothing.

      Oh thank you!
I see a lot of problems with it, but... well, backlog first, then maybe I will revisit my Scottish Laird. Tongue

I think we always see lots of problems with our own art, nomatter how awesome other people think it is. I really like this pic.

Our handsome man <3 AU where he still is a pampered son of a noble <3 Who knows what he’d become if he was given the chance…

Probably not a pirate, I think it's safe to say. Probably just a laird. You know, a nice unassuming landowner with a bunch of farms and sheep.

IT's hard to imagine Adrian all settled down with some sheep and a garden. Very domesticated. I wonder if he'd be miserable, or if that's what he'd want of himself all along.

I think, with the right person, he would be happy. He does like to relax. He is an adventurer, but always for a reason. When his purpose is fulfilled… a family might become his new purpose

This looks amazing!!! I wouldn't have guessed tartan! but he looks so good in it! Love the shading and how you did all the wrinkles in the fabric.

Yes his backstory is largely based on lairdships of the Scottish highlands from the 1700s, before the battle of Culloden. He was raised the son of a laird. Wink

Well, he might not talk about it much. Depends on if it comes out naturally. They aren’t the happiest or most recent memories.
