It was a simple enough quest. Captain Dahn has sought out the closest adventurer - who has happened to be Finley - and begged for help with their ship - the Cold Advent. The demon's ship had been left adrift due to a sudden surge of rogue, haywire constructs. The good captain abandoned ship, knowing they were incapable of handling an army of ferocious robots. And the poor sea slug, against better judgement, agreed to help however he could.
When he arrived, it was a curious scene. Shelves opened, objects and silverware clattered against the counters, and furniture at strange angles. The alarm lights in the hallways flashed a vibrant red every few seconds, and the faint sound of clanking footsteps hung in the air threateningly. He made his way through the ship slowly. At the slightest sound of movement, Finley's slug form would melt into a puddle and squirm into the closest crevice he could locate. From there, he'd watch the steel footsteps of vicious constructs patrol by. If he could just find some sort of engine room, or a power source for the ship, he could figure out what was causing the probems...
A loud crash in the next room over caused him to freeze up. A scream caused him to run towards it.
Finley threw himself forward, throwing open the door with the full weight of his body. The door flung around its hinges, slamming with a loud THWANG against thee metal wall. He raised his head, water trailing from his moist form.
Inside the room were two figures. One, a construct. Deep red armour adorned with a golden finish, the symbol of Avangard stitched royally on the cloth around its waist. One of its hands was transformed into a plasma saber, that sizzled and pulsated with a deep red energy. Its weapon was raised.
The other, a cowering tigress, backing against the wall, her eyes wide with fear.
Without thinking, Finley lunged, and threw himself between the two as the blade swung down. He cried out, feeling the energy bubble his liquid form. He shuddered in agony, snapping his head towards the woman behind him, "RUN!"

Avangard, part 2! Finley's arrived, he's had a cafe meal with a new friend, and now he's adventuring by himself into the skies around! I really want to start drawing his stories in portals, and take my time working through them before going to the next! Right now, this is the firt time he meets Lilith! A tiger woman who's found herself in quite a predicament...
I really wanted to do an action scene for this one, just to try and get some practive in before the OCL. Drawing fluid water is really difficult, but hopefully I managed to convey it splashing with the sword hit??? All in all, a pretty fun piece to make!

Come on Finley, you can defeat Omnitron! Just get his circuits wet!
and he's struggling. this fuck just played reactive plating and ALL HE HAS IS COLD DAMAGE
But I still adore the effects on this so much
All the movement of the water, the effects, all of it just AAAAAAAAAAAAH
Thank you for including my girl ; ;
I love the story description you put with it! Finley's getting himself into quite a lot of adventures but he's doing what he does best - helping people ^v^
And he does! He's trying his best, even if he KEEPS. ENDING UP. IN TROUBLE.
I really like the water effects, especially as it collides with the laser beam in his liquid form. It feels intense, especially with him jumping in to save Lilith.
This is awesome!!
