[Talisman] The Deck of Many Faces

'The Deck of Many Faces' is a unique magical item Suave makes use of - both as a conman (or rather, ex-conman as he would now insist) and as a traveller. Whilst the deck's most notable quality is it's use of portal petals in it's inks, allowing travel through various portal, the deck also has another number of curious features of it's own.

One such feature is it's seemingly endless supply of cards. As long as but two-or-three cards of the deck remain, a quick shuffle seemingly will regenerate the deck a few cards at a time. The longer the person handling the cards shuffles, the more cards the deck will regenerate - until they have a full 52 card deck.

Another feature of the deck is it's malleable nature. The one handling the deck can shuffle the deck to any card they want to pull from it - a convenient feature for a conman - as well as being able to generate entirely new cards should it's owner desire them. By discarding a normal card and shuffling, Suave is capable of generating entirely unique cards into the deck - which he can then shuffle to the top when he requires them. It is on these uniquely summoned cards that one can find the badges for each portal... or at least, where one will eventually find those badges, once Suave gets around to visiting a few places.

The final featue of the deck is arguably it's most mundane, albeit one Suave makes regular use of. The sides of the deckbox each have sandpaper strips, similar to a matchbox. From there, Suave can quickly and easily light a match - either for a quick easy cigarette... or to make use of his Elemental Power.

The design of this is hecking top notch holy heck as well as it's mechanic of just regenerating
And the art itself just being CLEAN as can be

Very curious to see it in action maybe in the future :3c

      Thank yooouuu!
The deck regenerating was absolutely neccesary, considering his tendency to, uh, burn his cards. XD

The endless cards was actually something of a later idea! I realised that if he's throwing cards around in a fight and such and expending them in various ways I probably needed them to refresh somehow. Lest his magic talisman very rapidly reduce itself to 'an empty card box'. XD
