Some people travel the portals for purely altruistic reasons - hoping to seek adventure, uncover new relics, discover and engage in new and foreign advancements. They strive for something worthwhile - and then apply what they see and learn to their lives, or to the lives of others. They want to see what the portals have to offer not just for themselves, but for all people.
Suave... Suave is unfortunately not one of those people.
A conman by trade, he's spent more than his fair share of time inside a whole variety of gambling establishments, counting cards, manipulating hands, and making sure that the supposed 'random' chance of victory in many of their games just so happened to fall in his favour. Of course, many of these businesses are rather unscrupulous in and of themselves - and it's their lack of morality that Suave has often used in the past to justify his own rackets against them. That and well... it isn't always easy to support a family - and Ignacio'd be damned if he didn't turn his talents to good us for them!

And damned he was. Turns out getting on the bad side of a large number of ne'er-do-wells often results in them taking a special interest in you. Plus... well, turns out the authorities frown upon crimes committed - even when committed with the best of intentions!
Now, with both sides of the law on his tail, Suave is on the run... and what better place to hide out than across all the different dimensions the universe has to offer?
Whilst many enter portals looking ahead to what they might find... Suave enters each looking back - hoping that nothing comes to find him.
