#44 - Heart of the Holidays

Draw or write about your character with those they love most. Is it family? Friends? A partner? The dog they rescued from a dumpster?

"Picture again, Sylvander?"

"Telerand got me a new camera. What am I supposed to do, not take pictures? Besides, I've only taken four today."

"With me in the frame--!"

"Paiko, that's only this one."

"One too many with me in it... must you include me in these?"

"You're a big part of our daily lives here, Paiko. Of course you need to be in the photos. We're practically family by now."

As far as Paiko knows, he has no biological family. The other 'projects' at the facility are his closest friends, perhaps even people he'd consider a found family. They were his life and livelihood in the labs. He loved their company. Spontaneous selfies included (which took some getting used to, but you know - small price to pay for friendship).
