Another

It's strange.

There's been more creatures in the realm recently.

Their attitudes have.. changed, since that day.

Less aggressive.

More watchful.

They used to believe they'd never see another.

Another being who breathed.

Lived, like they think they do. Like they know they don't, and never will.

How does this creature move so nimble?
How does it fly so far?

The wings, surely. They share a pair.

You see this clear.

But it's strange.

Why did it fly here?

Why do I feel at peace?
