Sloan was born into a clan of wandering raiders and raised amongst the ideals of strength and valor. Unfortunately for Sloan, despite years of training they were never much of a fighter and didn’t have the heart for this violent way of life. After a raid on a small village where Sloan not only saw first hand how much destruction and pain their clan caused and but also lost their left eye in the fight, Sloan ran away from home and began to travel. They began to learn how to play music, and found a passion for hearing tales and writing songs about the experiences of others. Despite their dislike for violence, Sloan still finds interest in the artistry that can come from a skilled fighter, and enjoys songs and tales about heroics.
