Billy was born into royal subservience, growing up within castle walls to an elven chamberlain and faunus lady-in-waiting. He was a rather rowdy youngun so the idea of wearing a tight suit and idling around on the beck and call of “noble snobs” was never appealing to him. Billy and his little sister were constantly scolded by their parents for rounding other kids into a convoy to roughhouse and bring about mayhem with, especially by their father; their mother was much more lenient. The Alphyn family is extremely tight knit, despite the constant bickering between father and son, there are moments of calm and familial affection; However, much to his father’s dismay, Billy has no intention of following in his pops’ footsteps and instead uses his unruly antics for something better suited: Knighthood. On behalf of his uncle’s influence, Billiam was able to find his true calling as a royal knight. 

Billy Alphyns is quite a confident lad and takes utmost pleasure in teasing people for shits n giggles but is quickly shut up when the gesture is returned. He can be overly cocky, reckless, and rather passively braggy about his swordsmanship. In all honesty, he does this to emphasise his “better qualities” to distract people from his insecurities. The boy’s a late bloomer, his antlers haven’t come in and as a result he was picked on all throughout his childhood and still gets some snide remarks that spark anger. Think Marty McFly getting called “chicken”.
