Born as a natural denizen of the underworld, Homura is the resulting offspring of the deities Anubis, god of the dead, and the goddess of war, Sekhmet. When she reached maturity, she joined the army and soared through the ranks to lieutenant where she was recruited by the war god Horus and inducted into his small, select team of elite forces.

To those she isn't close with, Homura appears as a very loutish individual. She is extremely blunt when speaking, which can make her come off as rude and uncaring.

Being raised almost solely by war, she has seen many people close to her perish. Due to this, she has built a tough exterior and has a tendency to distance herself from those who attempt to get close to her.

To those few who she does hold dear, Homura is loyal to a fault and will not hesitate to risk life and limb to keep them safe. Unfortunately, this same loyalty also gets her in trouble lest someone badmouth one of these individuals. She has little patience for gossip and idle threats.

Homura has a warrior's heart, she lives for the thrill of the fight and would rather exchange fists than idle banter. The few who match her spirit earn her respect, the even fewer who are able to best her in combat earn her loyalty.
