History: Kota is an academic mind in an adventurous body. He loves to learn but struggles to sit in a classroom. He grew up an only child and his parents put much of their extra income into his schooling and education, buying plenty of books which he read through until their spines unraveled and cracked. He would simply repair them and then read them some more. School did not work out quite as well. His mind wandered when trapped in a building and he never felt the freedom to ask whatever and however many questions he wanted. So, once he was of age, he packed up and headed out on the road, traveling the world around him and documenting all the interesting things he finds - big and small - in many journals.

Personality: Kota is a quiet, sit-back-and-observe kind of guy. He rarely finds himself at the center of attention. He holds a great deal of empathy and tries his best to help whoever he can, sometimes at his own detriment. He is an overall trusting person - originally too trusting with his fairly easy-going upbringing, though a near decade of exploration and experience has taught him it's not a sin to be weary sometimes. He cherishes his quiet and alone time, putting him in a loud and/or social setting for too long can land you with a cranky kirin.
