TfE Council Design Contest: Tinker Trots

An entry for the council design contest over at Tales from Equestria!

I'm making a brief description below of how I think of him. But of course, feel free to change up anything (should he win a spot in the Council) to help him fit into the Council and the story better.

Species: Unicorn

Sex: Male (he/him)

Personality Traits: Adventurous, Bold, Upbeat, Critical

History:

Born in Ponyville, it could be difficult for a young unicorn to learn all the magic he might want. Tinker Trots still found ways to amuse himself with his magic, building little clockwork and magical toys that he'd share with his friends. But, there was an upside to living in Ponyville- there are risks to be taken and adventures to be had everywhere. Tinker Trots was always pushing his luck exploring out of the safe bounds of town. One day, his confident attitude would come to bite him in the butt- or rather the foreleg, as a wolf under the influence of Wild Magic attacked him. Tinker Trots would lose that leg but would escape with his life.

He was in a terrible mood for weeks, upset that he lost his ability to somewhat safely travel outside of Ponyville. But with the support of his friends, he put his fondness for tinkering to work and build himself a prosthetic leg. Every few years he builds himself a new, better one as his experience gained allows him to build better models. Tinker Trots wants to attend the Canterlot School of Magic to learn more about traditional magic to further improve his machines and make technology better for everypony- especially the disabled.

Fun Fact: Tinker Trots is based off of a tinker horse :D
