Prompt- Draw a mistake your character made. Hopefully it's not as bad as the soggy sentinel!
The beginning of Silvyr's story has him devoted to a god trying to take over Phauroraland. A country that Phoenix is a key to get into. Trying to get permanent access to Phauroraland, Mordel (Silvyr) takes Phoenix's song away with a kiss, leaving him completely without a voice, but is still unable to penetrate the barrier around Phauroraland.
Mordel ends up regretting stealing Phoenix's voice during his story, and is forced to decide if he gives up Phoenix's melodic voice and betray his god, or betray his heart and abandon Phoenix. his mistake ultimately starts a war so perhaps that's a little worse than starting a forest fire... who knows?
credit- pose taken from Alfred Aisenstaedt's photo of a sailor kissing a woman in Times Square after returning from the war. This photo has gone down in history as a passionate kiss, but it has since been exposed that the woman didn't want the kiss and was grabbed against her will. This context was at heart when drawing this pose.
