From the egg, Deirrom was blind in both eyes, though, his physical appearance does not reflect this. He was born into an aristocratic family of his parents, grandparents, and several brothers and sisters. For obvious reasons, he couldn't take the mantle.
After the death of his parents, he was passed down one of his father's blue mantle coats as a simple memento. Aditionally, it is VERY comfortable.
