Terryn's Talisman

This Talisman is one of Terryn's throwing knives that he had altered to be able to access portals. He chose one of his throwing knives as they are small and easy to carry around, but he's had them all enchanted to magically return to their sheaths after being thrown. So these two facts combined make for excellent getaways.

The blade is made of a sharp gemstone, similar to obsidian, which is magically amplified to use as a focus for Terryn's magic, as he would be able to cast any sort of magic otherwise. While it does put him at a magical disadvantage, Terryn balances that out by being a top notch weapons master.
