Rhakos concept sketch

Just a rough concept drawing in pen. Despite the templet for the Rhakos, thinking of drawing mine more like feathered T-Rex. lol! I know the horns can't cover and or be in front of the eyes on the templets, but AP art they sort of can be as long as it looks like the templet. I saw this cow skull and thought, "Humm, wonder what that would look like?" Thoughts anyone?

He certainly looks a lot like a dinosaur, the way the horns sprout from the head feels natural.

  I sort of like the look, but not the way the teeth look, went a bit too large with those I think?

  That would help focus the eye on the horns, it doesn't sound like a bad idea.

  Thanks, that's what I thought too. I just figured that if these are modeled after "Terror Birds". They should look like a something you really don't want to mess with. Making them more like a T-Rex fits idea, at least for me anyway.
