Riddle lives in a city situated around the base of a gigantic tree, shaded by the massive canopy above. The moth has a lively and energetic personality, frequently acting on impulse and giving 100% with everything he does. He's fairly easy to talk to and get along with, though he's prone to getting frustrated if he feels people are talking down to him or his friends and isn't above starting fights because of it. His community deals heavily with trading and bartering, and Riddle himself enjoys trading rare and exotic goods that he and his partner find while adventuring outside of the city. He is somewhat estranged from his family in the center city, due to their attitude towards the marginalized people in their community (as well as their casual bigotry towards the people who live high up in the canopies), and instead spends his time in the western outskirts where people are more open-minded. His adventuring partner is his lifelong friend and boyfriend, Rhyme, who hails from the canopy above, and the two love exploring the world outside of the tree as much as they care for each other.
