Hair color: Calico; orange, white, and brown (sometimes drawn white cream and grey)

Eye color: Green

AMAB Enby || any pronouns (I’ll use “he” for the bio to keep it from being confusing but usually I'll refer to them as whatever I feel to at any given moment!!)

Living in a world where human+animal merging has become the new fad of the century and humanoids are being sold as the modern pet, Apollo (who is known as Cookie) has been adopted by a dozen and one families throughout his years. His current family, however, doesn't care one bit where he’s been or what has happened because what they do know is that he is safe and loved now, and they won't give up. Being genetically altered, we could guess he is somewhere around his mid-forties or possibly more. And he's been considered a “temperamental case” for the whole of it; thus being part of why he's been out of so many homes.

His current family will end up being his keep, if only he knew that. His many years of mistreatment and mistrust lead him to be a big ball of fury when his family tries to show him even the most basic affections, or necessities, for that matter. (has gone as far as biting “dad” in the process of being force-fed within the first month living there)

Once he finally overcomes what he needs to (and I'm talking way later, baby needs years of therapy) the family finds out that he’s actually very smart compared to other bred humanoids, on par with the average non-modified person! They give him homeschooling and see how far his knowledge goes; which, granted isn’t very far yet but he catches on quickly.

And of course, his family has all the resources for it! Being one full of (not quite legal) business so there's more than enough money around for their favorite problem child. And yes, he does end up very close with his family.

As far as personality: he's a quiet sort, usually found seething over humanity silently in some corner of his room. But once that shell breaks and he learns that he won't be losing this family any time soon, or at all really, he becomes a little hellion; just like any over-energetic and stable cat. And while he never gets to be all that friendly to strangers, he mostly just acts standoffish and avoids too much contact (especially physical)
