The man had a terrific idea for a couple piece, tweaked it a bit to match what I enjoy painting currently. I feel like I learned a lot about filling empty horizons in this piece!

Beautiful work with the clouds here! The tones and colors in clouds are tricky, but you got the feel of their bulk and movement down well. One small issue I noticed was in the shading from the darker one's head - there isn't much landing on the tree he's resting against, unlike the ground he's laying on. Their anatomy is great, especially the legs on the light blue one.

Thank you very much! <3 Especially for pointing that out. I didn't even notice that I missed the cast shadow on the tree.

Can i say once more that i love your style, that technique of painting is so charming and I love exploring all the little details and brush strokes.
For some reason the blue strands of grass in the shadow of the aspen trees fascinate me. They really look like grass reflecting bits of the sky.
I also need to mention the characters and the poses, that itself is so wholesome to look at c:

I was actually trying to achieve that with the blue Smile
The pose was suggested by my BF, so all credits goes to him for that haha
