A little exciting thing I've been doing is getting to the great amount of cooncept-y art for my story. To start off, I've been focusing on the many species of dragon that appear in the world, since it is a good area to ease myself into concept work (compared to my usual illustrative stuff). To clarify, I'm not going to be doing all of them, just the ones that'll be appearing in the first part, it wouldn't be good to overwork myself about far future things when there's still a ton to do for the present haha. These guys are the first I went about, and I'll be uploading a part 2 to show individual variety, mostly for the sake of getting used to it myself. No idea when that'll be done, but until then, there will be this.
The Dört-Sivuç, or Sivuç for short, are native to the desert and have brown camoflauge along their backs, but possess blue undersides to make it difficult to spot them when they're in the air. Their eyes are grey, ranging from black to silver, but most commonly are dark in tone. Males and females can be distinguished by common means, by the direction of the ridge at the top of their neck. With females, the ridge goes against the flow of the rest of their scales (up the neck), reffered to as being "reverse," while the ridge of males travels down the neck (same as their other scales), reffered to as being "flush." Also like other dragons, females are larger on average than males.
Art and species belong to me and are for my sole use.
