beautiful job on this. i think this is one of your best works.

the use of blue is stunning. great composition, great use of color. great articulation of the grasses and leaves

The blue in the distance is hauntingly pretty, it adds intrigue and compliments the earthen tones of the forest floor beautifully. Speaking of the forest floor, I love how dimensional it is, it feels uneven and rough, which contrasts the single blossoming tree starkly. This feels like it has a story to it, something quiet and easy to overlook, but rich. It's great to see more work from you around here

  It came very close to being overdone - I had originally planned a scene with fantasy creatures, but my "background" took on so much life I didn't want to hide any of it! I still want to do a couple of creature paintings in the same palette, sort of implying they all belong to the Wood...
