Sunlight and Obscurity

I finally got to doing a piece of art where I took what I learned in my landscape studies and really changed my approach to the art, and I'm very glad I did! The biggest points of this that I'm proud of are the plant life, the alterations to Kamon's design, and how approached the scenery around him. I can tell that I'm not entirely set on my boy's design, which makes sense considering how new of a character he is- but I am a lot closer to where I'll finally settle with him.

In this, he's probably scoping out an area to eat lunch at- the area certainly is pretty, but you gotta make sure there's a good spot for you and any compant to sit first afterall.

Art and Kamon belong to me, art is my my sole use~

Ahhh this is so good! I love how the sunlight is coming down through the canyon, and the subtle browns and greens really bring the piece together.
