Jerle's Talisman

My character Jerle, his talisman is a Telescope which he uses to look at the stars and chart the planets. He then records the badges for the portals on his planetary chart.

The portals are taking people to other worlds but we don't yet know where in the galaxy these planets exist. Jerle has an interest in astronomy and is using that interest to attempt to chart out where these planets exist by measuring the positions of the stars.
