Even at new places the Ghezigar harvest the land and restore it in the process. In the caves they mostly focused on mushrooms and a specific species of nocturnal tubers, the flower is beautiful and extremely fragrant, so much that it attracts outer insects to the cave, and serves as food to other major species inside. But this is hard work and duty calls. The time for Ael'u to gather the crops finally reached. Picking the tubers she grabbed some insects, kept them expecially as a prize for Njara, who she thought was waiting for her at home. But a clacking sound caught her attention... a hungry Njara followed Ael'u for food... Njara's first clumsy steps!
Your style for backgrounds is charming, I enjoy how the variation in hues defines the surfaces of the cave walls. The flowers are done beautifully as well, I like the delicate details to them, it's not what I'd expect in the darkness of a cave. Ael'u's posture in the last panel came out elegantly, the anatomy of how she twists to see her little stryx feels very natural.
Thanks! Making a cave is hard! hahah I really tried not to make too many "wall" layers to keep attention where I wanted, that's why I aimed for a hue variation. I'm really glad you liked it!
