Finally finished the second element for the Elemental Magic challenge. Time to start fire.

Ah! Very beautiful swirls and green shades, I like it very much. I like the none traditional take on the fire theme

So stunning, and it feels refreshing to look at it! I adore the palette you've used, and the whole work has such a wonderful sense of motion and energy!

  Thank you Hushicho. I spent forever exploring various color palettes before i settled on this one. i did a bunch of color comps and just couldn't decide. I'm glad I finally came up with something that worked.

I love the colour scheme. What sort of brush settings did you use for the light blue "speckled" effect?

  Thank you! Coming up with the right colors for this was a challenge. I did so many color comps. For the light specks I used a regular old soft air brush and then a hard round brush for the center. the two combined create a nice effect.
