CLAUDIA WINKLEMAN - This charcoal pencil sketch turned out really well, if I do say so myself (and I just did) I had a lovely little color photo of her which I used for reference but I wanted to do her (HEY!!!!) in black and white charcoal, just to be different. Ten minutes with the overhead projector and about two hours on the drawing board. When I photographed the finished piece, I got a glare of reflected light on the upper right of the thing, which lightened her hair out (It's from the fixative spray that hadn't fully dried yet) . I left it that way as I think it works.
