Heart of the Kiln part 2

Part two to the similarly titled piece in my gallery! Since my volcanic bab has to sit in the kiln until it hits a thousand degrees (F), which takes a while for such a large kiln, someone has to feed her through the side opening, and I got this in my head and had to draw it.

Art and character belong to me, don't steal.

    Yay, food. Smile
...Come to think of it, does she like her fish cooked or raw? I'm wondering if the heat from the kiln and/or her own heat gives it a bit of a quick-bake. Wink

She likes both, but the kiln is hot enough that it's cooking that fish as she's eating it. When I helped in a wood-firing, I roasted some marshmallows at the air vents, and those suckers would get well-cooked in a second or two. In the picture, the kiln is probably sitting at 7 or 8 hundred degrees Fahrenheit, close to half the temperature or magma.
