Not bad, not bad really Clean lines and great coloring, I like the composition too. But duh, the red scribbled background is... unfortunate. Sorry to say this, but that pretty much kills the picture. The rest of it looks really nice, though⦠maybe you could save it in PhotoShop, Gimp, or other software.
Thanks for your comment. The matter is... I hate doing elaborate backgrounds... , the main purpose of my drawings is concentrate on the characters only. This drawing wasn't edited at all, as I don't have Photoshop (duh!) nor Gimp... I use Photoimpression, and I made some works with if: I'll post them later.
Well, doing detailed backgrounds can be pretty boring. But with tools like markers, it's usually better no background than quick background, I think.
Have you tried combining your liners and markers with watercolours? If you wan't to stick to traditional media, these are the ones which can cover wide spaces and actually look pretty cool.
'Have you tried combining your liners and markers with watercolours?' Generally I use watercolours for bgrounds, you'll see in some of my works I'll post in future here; sometimes I use markers as you've seen Maybe my bgrounds aren't the best, but again, the characters are more important for me... However, recently, I'll color my bgrounds digitally (simple plain colour, nothing special). Again, thank you for your comment.
