Baby Roxas

The sketch (mini sketch) for this pic was born in my History of Rome class during an hour and a half of boring hell.  I later sketched it on my notebook (bigger version), scanned it, inked it and colored it in Photoshop CS2.  I think is the best coloring I've done so far.  Honestly the only thing I like are the colors and maybe little Axel.

Drawn on paper, inked and colored in PhotoShop CS2.  Time taken: sketched in about 15 min, inked and colored in about 10 hours in space of 2 days T__T.

Roxas and Axel belong to Squarenix.

Cute character and you did him in a very stylized way. The proportions of the hands bug me a bit, they seem too small as compared to the rest of the body. As far as the coloring goes, as it looks now it is basically flats with little to no shading. Try establishing a light source and adding in shadows and more darks. Add other colors to his hair to create depth, and highlights in the areas of greatest light. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing.

Wow thanks, at last somebody comments on it and points out it's faults. Yeah I know, I'm slowly learning. I'll practice more often now.
