The Castrato

Meet Issac. Stage name Oriel Livre.
He was born a peasant on a fuedal vinyard in the 15th century. He was sold by his father to a man named Sven, who seeing the potential of his voice to make him lots and lots of money, took him and made him into one of the Castrati. A very painful process in a day where there was no anesthetic. They began showcasing him in fairs and festivals his fame began to grow until he was performing in some of the greatest Opera houses in the country. He even had opportunity to perform for the prince...and to sing in the extremley secretive solstice festival of the Temple.
Here he is shown as I envisioned his solstice dress. Although I ended up making the image into something more of a poster for the Opera.
