I don't really know how this came about... I was just painting in watercolours, playing with the reds, and she appeared. The colours reminded me of the different elements, hence the title.
This is very true. Well, if you can make yourself asbestos hair ties, you can have her hair. Mind you... It's tough to convert watercolours into reality. I'm not in that business. Know anyone who is?
She's beautiful. She's so fiery and fierce, but I actually like her blue skin, it makes her approachable instead of totally dangerous. Ah watercolours! I love watercolours. Great job!
It's about time I did another watercolour picture, methinks. Though I've been having so much fun with graphite and tinting... Thanks for your wonderful comments!
Oh, just love the hair!!! The fiery orange-red hair just does the trick!! The hair blends so well wth the background. You are indeed talented. Keep up the good work!! Can't wait to see more of your awesome art!!
The blending came about through laziness, actually. I didn't feel like drawing in every single strand, and how it would flow, so I just blended it into the background... lol
She seems fiery to me. I love the flame colored eyes. She seems like she could mess somebody up if they made her too mad. *laughs* I do love the reds and oranges. They go beautifully together in this piece.
I remember originally sitting down to create a sun goddess, but this is what came out... And it wasn't anything like what I had planned. Oh well! I think that happens to all of us. Thank you yet again, luv.
I should have added red highlights to her body, though. I think that's one of the things that's been bugging me most, and I just havent had time to go back into it yet. I'm glad you like her!
You like this one, hey? I wasn't actually very fond of it for quite a while (I'm still not so sure). I don't feel it contains the same amount of emotion as I like to get into my pieces... I don't know why. Perhaps because it was created with nothing in mind? Hmm... I'm very glad you like it, though!

Thanks so much for the wonderful compliments.
Love it!
I love her pose in this pic (and i won't be only one, if i remember correctly that here should be one who just loves these kind of poses).
Great pic once again!
